Scott and Pam came to Scioto Hills in 2006 as Scott took the position of Executive Director. They moved here from Colorado where Scott served as an assistant pastor and Christian school administrator for 22 years and Pam was an elementary teacher. They are both graduates of Denver Baptist Bible College. Scott and Pam have three sons: Josiah (married to Brooke), Tim (married to Amy), and Jared (married to Marie). They also have 5 precious grandchildren! Pam now serves as our Executive Assistant. Scott enjoys working with people and loves serving with our summer programs. In their spare time, Scott loves to garden, and Pam loves to play the piano and read.

Ken and Rebecca are both graduates of Cedarville University class of 1996. Rebecca grew up coming to Scioto Hills since age 8, and they have been at Scioto Hills as a couple since January 1999. Ken is our Grounds Director here at Scioto, and Rebecca serves as our Camp Nurse. You can change to- During the school year, Rebecca also enjoys serving in our community as a school nurse at our local school in South Webster. They have three boys: Kaleb, Kody, and Logan. Ken, Rebecca, and the boys love living and working at camp!

Brayden and Megan graduated from Cedarville University in May of 2024 with degrees in Worship Ministry. They were married at the end of August before joining the Scioto Hills team at the beginning of September 2024. Neither of them grew up coming to Scioto Hills, but both enjoyed attending and serving at various camps growing up. They got connected to Scioto Hills through a mutual friend, and are incredibly excited to serve in camp ministry, as it has had a large impact on both of their lives over the years.

Marshall and Jo were married and joined the Scioto Hills team in May 2024. Both served on our 2022 and 2023 summer staff, and Marshall served as an intern for two years. From serving during the summers they both fell in love with camp and the ministry at Scioto Hills, and they are excited for the opportunity God has given them to serve in year-round ministry here. Marshall serves on our grounds and maintenance team and Jo acts as our registrar.

Dan and Kayla were married in 2007 at Scioto Hills and serve as our Maintenance Director and Food Service Director. They have six kids, Abby, Cassie, Josiah, Emma, Violet, and Liam, in lots of life stages. Violet and Liam are still camp kids enjoying camp life while the older ones are all grown up in various stages of life! Dan graduated from Cedarville University in 1985 and enjoys working outdoors, OSU football, reading, and spending time with his family. Dan has served in maintenance at Scioto Hills for over 35 years! Kayla joined the Scioto staff in 2006. Aside from camp, most of her time is spent sewing, cooking, and on family activities.

FINANCE DIRECTOR
Cindy joined the Scioto Hills team in June 2014 as our Finance Director. Originally from Indiana, Cindy moved to Southern Ohio when she married Ed Ruggles, who, coincidentally, is Kayla Edwards' father. At the time, Scioto Hills was in need of a Finance Director, and with 30 years of experience in that field, Cindy was able to fill that need! Ed loves volunteering at camp helping with breakfasts in the kitchen and at the grill. He has also been known to clear a trail or help with painting. Ed and Cindy are members of Wheelersburg Baptist Church, where Ed is a deacon and on the security team. They host a Community Group in their home and are involved in the Biblical Counseling ministry. Cindy also facilitates a ladies Bible study group. She and Ed love to travel and spoil their 15 grandchildren.

Michael and Katelynn came on staff in May 2019. Michael grew up in Colorado and moved to Ohio in 2010 to experience camp for the first time after some encouragement from family. Katelynn grew up coming to Scioto Hills every summer since she was 8 and first worked on camp staff when she was 18. They met at camp in 2010 and were married in 2013. Katelynn graduated from Cedarville University in 2012. They moved to Louisville, KY in 2014 for Michael to attend Southern Seminary and he has a M.A in Apologetics. After five years in Louisville, they joined our team here at Scioto Hills! They have one daughter: Aerith. Katelynn manages our pop shops & camp store/espresso bar as well as our graphic design & social media. Michael assists caring for our beautiful grounds and is our High Ropes Director.

Pete and Megan moved to Scioto Hills from Raleigh, NC. Megan grew up coming to camp at Scioto Hills. The rest of the family fell in love with camp in 2014 when they began coming as family campers. Pete and Megan are both graduates of Cedarville University. They have two children: Campbell and Brayden. Pete serves as our Work Group Coordinator, and Megan is our Director of Donor Development. They enjoy hiking and traveling when not at camp.
TORI WINDON
OFFICE MANAGER & GUEST GROUPS COORDINATOR
Tori began her role as the Office Manager/Guest Group Coordinator in September 2023. Tori has enjoyed a long history with SHC, first as a camper, then as a four-time summer staffer. She is one of 7 siblings that have served on our summer staff. She grew up in one of our key churches. Tori holds a degree in Social Work from Ohio University but after working in that field, with the encouragement of others, she sensed God leading her to join our team.
MATT & BETHANY WILSON
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Matt and Bethany have been long time camp friends but officially joined the Scioto Hills team in January 2024. They both grew up coming to camp and served collectively for 7 summers. They met at Scioto Hills in the summer of 2003 and were married in 2006. They are both graduates of Cedarville University, and Matt obtained his MBA from Liberty University. Matt has served on the pastoral staff at Wheelersburg Baptist since 2007 and completed the ordination process in 2019. Bethany works at the local hospital and volunteers at camp when she is able. They have 4 children (Regan, Colton, Maddie, and Carson) who love being official “camp kids“ now. They are so thankful for the opportunity to serve the Lord as a family. They don’t have much spare time in this season of life, but when they do, they enjoy traveling, hiking, and kayaking.

Douglas and Lacey served on summer staff in 2016 after their wedding in 2015. They met while Lacey was in Brazil on a missions trip. Douglas was working at the church Lacey’s missions team was serving. Lacey had previously been on summer staff for 5 summers, and Douglas had served at a Word of Life Camp in his hometown in Brazil. After living in Louisville, Kentucky for 1 year, God brought them to our team in the winter of 2016. Douglas serves as our Housekeeping Coordinator with Lacey assisting him with housekeeping. Lacey is an RN. They have three children: Bella, Olivia, and Lucas.
