REJUVENATE 1
September 12-14, 2025
Caitlin Shumaker
Caitlin lives in Dayton, Ohio where she and her high school sweetheart, Jordan, are raising their four kids. Caitlin has a background in Marketing, Communication, and Event Coordination, and she currently spends her days as a stay-at-home mom. She attends Butler Community Church where she works part time running the website and creating communication materials. At church, she also serves as an operation team member with her daughter and hosts a Small Group with her husband for young adults.
While she enjoys coaching volleyball, watercolor painting, hiking, and and seeing God’s goodness on display in sunrises and sunsets, her true passion is in leading Womenʼs Bible Studies and equipping women with tools to study the Bible on their own. Caitlin has created Bible Study content and taught for a local nonprofit, Dayton Women in the Word. She has led Bible studies at the turquoise table in her front yard inviting neighbors and friends every summer for the last 6 years. She has written study materials for this group on Ecclesiastes, Amos, and Ephesians. Gathering with women and digging into the Bible is her happy place!
Caitlin’s favorite Bible verses are:
Psalm 61:2- “When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is greater than I.”
Colossians 3:23- “Whatever you do, work at it with all your hear as working for the Lord, not man.”

Lindsey Vivas
Lindsey lives in Jamestown, Ohio, with her husband Abraham, and their three sweet daughters, ages 11, 5, and 3. They have been married for nearly 14 years, and Lindsey is deeply grateful for Abraham's steadfast love, encouragement, and partnership in both family life and ministry. As a homeschooling mom, Lindsey cherishes the opportunity to teach, guide, and disciple her children each day.
In addition to her role at home, Lindsey works part-time for Choosing Hope Adoptions, where she serves as both the Staff Spiritual Advisor and the Adoptive Family Advocate. In her role as Spiritual Advisor, Lindsey meets with the staff weekly to encourage, pray, and counsel them, helping them process the emotional weight of their work both inside and outside of Choosing Hope. As the Adoptive Family Advocate, she connects with waiting families to offer support, answer questions, and encourage them in their season of waiting.
Lindsey also partners with her husband in ministry, as he serves as the Youth and Worship Pastor at their local church. Lindsey leads Bible studies and provides mentorship and counseling to young women in the church, sharing her heart for discipleship and her love for God's Word.
Her love for Scioto Hills runs deep, having served on summer staff for several years and then returning as permanent staff before going on the mission field. Her time at camp significantly shaped her heart for ministry, and she continues to pour into the lives of others by sharing the hope of Jesus.
Lindsey is passionate about pointing others to Christ, encouraging them with the truth of God's Word, and investing in the next generation of young women.

faq
How is lodging assigned?
Unless Private Lodging has been chosen, lodging is generally, assigned by church group. The church group is able to divide up however they would like, once they move into their lodging. If you are coming with a small group of individuals, we will see that listed within registration and assign your lodging accordingly.
Is lodging with other groups?
We will not assign two church groups attending together to the same sleeping quarters. You will share restrooms with other women attending the event.
Is seating assigned in the Dining Hall?
Yes, we will assign seating in the Dining Hall using the same method that we assign lodging. Please keep in mind, based on the size of your group, our table arrangement, and in an effort to accommodate our guest count, your group may be seated with those from another group attending.
Can I rent linens?
No, we are not able to offer that service for Rejuvenate.
What should I bring?
Please bring bedding (pillow and sheets or sleeping bag), personal toiletries, towel, Bible, notebook, pen, board games to enjoy, optional spending money for souvenirs, cafe snacks/espresso bar, and optional love offering gift.
Can you send me a schedule?
No, that is not something that we have available for guests prior to arrival. You may see our website or your email for a general check-in and check-out time frame. Please let us know if you have specific questions about the schedule, so we can look into that and get back with you.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is from 5:00-6:30 on Friday evening in the office with dinner to follow. Your remaining balance will be collected at this time.
Can I bring my infant?
Due to the nature of our weekend, we feel it would be best if you were able to experience the weekend on your own. We do completely understand there are various seasons of life, and we know that it may be necessary to bring your little one along. If you will be bringing an infant, we would ask that you choose Private Lodging for the consideration of other guests.
